corsetry

"Oh, my God, you were in the show? I didn't recognize you!"

That or something very like that was the most common response following my participation in the Stormy Leather 15th Anniv. Fashion Show, Oct. 10, 1998.My usual everyday appearance is sans makeup, and I tend to dress like the girl geek that I am (I'll wear any color as long as it's black).

The hairdresser teased what looked like a dead pink rat up into a glorious cotton-candy-pink Trailer Trash bouffant: I'm not sure who I was wearing that thing, but I'd sure like to get a wig like that and try it again. The corset is the Can Can, made in silver leather with black trim. For our big fashion shows, we often make corsets in one-of-a-kind color schemes, and then sell the unique pieces in our store following their one appearance in the show. Several friends only recognized me from my tattoos.
