The article clipping above right is about a painted portrait of me done by a fellow classmate in graduate school. This image of me dates to just before I started getting my armbands tattooed. I sat for the painter, and she took several photographs of me to work from. By the time I attended her graduate art show, my tattoos looked quite different, as many people at the show that night commented. This image was started before the other 1995 one, but wasn't finished until after I had already completed getting my armbands tattooed.
