The Temple of Sekhmet - A sacred space and exploration of the gift economy, located in Cactus Springs, NV

I've visited here a few times now. My first visit was for a fire circle and I arrived on the site after dark. It was very windy that night and the land was rough and mysterious. It wasn't until dawn, when I large gold and pink cloud shaped like a phoenix rose for us, that I finally got to see the landscape clearly and get a sense of where I was. The temple was built by a women's collective and is a straw-bale structure crafted from local materials.

There's also a guesthouse on the land.
