Art Nouveau Armband
1.95-3.95

The jewel piece in the middle of my shoulders and the two armbands all were chosen out of the same book of art nouveau jewelry designs. The armband detail photo was actually made by laying across a flatbed scanner at a friend's house.

The designs were meant for bracelets and needed to be repeated to fit around my upper arms. Since arms aren't perfect tubes, the patterns didn't repeat exactly, and so they were joined based on how close they came together. Inside the right arm, the pattern came together almost perfectly, and the small space was colored as though it was one large opal-like setting.

The tattoo of an art nouveau necklace on my upper back is from the same design book as this tat and the left armband.
