I invisioned the necklace design as being the clasp to connect the two different sides. The stones are filled in to look like sapphires and fire opals. Throughout the tattoo process, Mandy would stop periodically and push my shoulders downwards: the sensation made me tense and 'shrug' uncontrollably. This was one of the first tattoos that stunned my friends and family so much that they really liked it. People respond to the placement and the lines more than how they felt about tattoos.
I have an Art Nouveau bracelet-as-armband on each upper arm, the left by Greg Kulz and the right done by Mandy.
